Actress Emma Watson and director/producer Travis Knight (Kubo and the Two Strings) have signed with the agency. Watson comes over from WME, while Knight was not previously repped by an agent.
Veteran TV lit agent Joel Begleiter has left UTA to join the agency (even as the two rivals are still working through the legal issues surrounding last years mass defection of agents in the other direction).
Deadline Hollywood recently reported that CAA is considering a collaboration with former ABC Entertainment Group president Paul Lee to produce high-end scripted TV. The venture was compared to work already undertaken by WME since its acquisition of IMG, and sounds similar to the way many (much smaller) management companies work in developing client material.
At ICM Partners:
New promotions at the agency include LA-based Nathalie Didier and Chris Horsman, who have been made talent agents, and New Yorks Justin Ianda, who is now an agent in global branded entertainment.

Agency Notes
At CAA:
RandB star Brian McKnight and actor Jesse Williams (Greys Anatomy) have signed with the agency. McKnight had been with ICM Partners, while Williams had signed with UTA in September.
Legendary actress of screen and stage Jessica Lange, previously of UTA, has signed with the agency.
Newcomer Algee Smith, the star of Kathryn Bigelows as-yet-untitled project on the 1967 Detroit riots, is also a new signing for the agency.
At ICM Partners:
Agent Daniel Cohan has joined the team, bringing with him clients like writers T.S. Nowlin (The Maze Runner) and Sean OKeefe (The Green Hornet). He had been with WME for over a decade.
Another new addition is reality TV agent Denise Draper. She represents both producers and talent of the Real Housewives series, as well as other Bravo programming.
TV Lit agents Lanny Noveck and Brandy Rivers are moving on from the agency.
At UTA:
Actor and former SNL star Jason Sudeikis has left CAA and signed with Jason Heyman.
Veteran agent Rob Carlson, who has been the principal agent for director Michael Bay, has left WME to join the agency. He will work in their Motion Picture Literary department.

Agencies AM Only and Windish will both operate entirely under the Paradigm name going forward. After first entering into partnerships with the agency in 2012 and 2015, respectively, the three agencies had all been working in the same New York City office space for the last few months. The name change fully cements the acquisitions.

Comedy agent Richard Super has come aboard the agency, bringing with him his roster of clients from his own booking agency, Super Artists.

Australian actress and Sundance breakout star Danielle MacDonald (Patti Cake$) has signed with Charlie Jennings.
