Agency Notes
At CAA:
Oscar winner and People magazine's Most Beautiful Person this year, Lupita Nyong'o, has signed with Hylda Queally. She was previously with Innovative Artists, and while they booked her into 12 Years a Slave, the move to CAA may have been a foregone conclusion. She continues to be managed by Didi Rea and Danielle Del of D2 Management.
At WME:
NBA superstar LeBron James has signed with Brad Slater for off-the-court representation. James was previously with CAA for his player contracts, and has created his own marketing company, LRMR, to handle that area of his career, but this is his first time formally signing with a talent agent.
Playwright-screenwriter Jay Reiss is now with Danny Greenberg and Greg Hodes. His manager is Jimmy Miller at Mosaic, and he was previously with CAA.
Filmmaker Gavin O'Connor has signed with Dan Aloni. He also comes over from CAA.
Actress Nichelle Hines has signed with Stephanie Ritz.
Actor/wtier Jonah Platt is now with Nancy Josephson. His manager is Peter Principato at Principato Young Entertainment.
At UTA:
Actor Lorenzo Richelmy, star of the upcoming Netlifx series Marco Polo, is now with Andrea Cannava.
Filmmaker Martha Stephens has signed with Jenny Maryasis and Melissa Wells.
Director Simon West and his producing partner, Jib Polhemus, have signed with a team that includes Jim Berkus, Steve Rabineau and Leslie Schuster.
PR Notes
A correction to last week's newsletter: Reese Hartwig, recently signed to Persona PR, is an actor. Also signing with Persona are designer Rachel Roy and author Blake J. Harris.
Actor Nathan Parsons is now with Platform PR.
Actress Soneque Martin-Green has signed with ID PR.
